Tears, laughs, and learning is what flooded the van on the way back to Gainesville from Cairo. Our Community Life group has come along way in these past two months. We all believe that being in Cairo created a turning point not only with the unity of our group but also with the strength within us personally.

It’s funny because just a month ago we could barely get through conversations without irritation rising and people escaping to coffee or computers. But while in Cairo we spent a week in a small house and stayed up late to finish conversations and everyone stayed and fought through it. I believe that’s what it is all about, FIGHTING, we have to fight in prayer and intercession, we have to fight for unity and fight the enemy from spewing lies into our heads. We have in a sense become so much more spiritually mature and we are all filled with the kind of discernment that caused us all to stand in a circle and pray (or I should say yell) at the evil spirits that tried to break us apart.

This is where God has placed us and this is where I will grow in UNITY and LOVE until God moves me. What we learned in Cairo I believe is exactly what we needed to continue in this journey of Community Life.
