Watch as she walks in with a hip swaying stride and a
book of pride upon her
shoulder.

She speaks with humbleness and love knowing that in her heart lies
judgement and hatred toward others and
herself.

She boasts of her past and plays the victim of pain
as she prepares to manipulate her way into her very own
pity party.

But God has different plans and prepares her to
crash her very own
funeral.

She plays the submissive wife expecting to seduce the strong silent man.
But she is really an assertive, dominant woman who needs the
controlling, beautiful love of a saviours blood.

She is stubborn in her ways and as her family always say,
she is just like her
father.

She hates those who exude all that she hides.
She pretends to be in control when inside she fears the
chaotic darkness.

She is weak yet strong.
She is scared yet fearless.
She is a fake, phony, hypocrite.
She is ME!

  1. Rosie, you’re transparency is great, and given that, I say you’re being a little tough on yourself. that said, if everyone had your attitude, the church would look a lot better.

Anyway, here’s a great passage in the bible about the woman you describe: Isaiah 3:15-24

  2. I like this one…I think it explains how many of us feel…except for the hip swaying, that’s all you, girl!
